I have thoroughly read what you have written.

There are many questions and matters woven at a time in your mail.

I will try to deal with them one by one.

First, you want to open many more centers to spread the comprehensive message in my vision. It shows that you have a great and intense aspiration for a true spiritual life, and you want to spread the fire of aspiration to the masses through many centers.

However, that needs several preparations, both on your part, and on the part of the people. Some people should have some preparations, or else, all our endeavors will be a total failure. Seeds cast on untilled and uncultivated lands seldom grow plants. Regarding the preparation on your part, I am to say that now the fire of aspiration has been burning in you. You have been touched by some Truth, some Force. But what is needed for a comprehensive action is that you start living the said Truth, the said Force. It will take some time. You will have to prepare your mind and heart and life and body, and you will have to unveil your psychic being, you will have to integrate your being, your mind and heart and body around the truth, around the psychic being. Then only you can act as the perfecting instrument of the Vision, of the Truth, of the Force. I am NOT discouraging you. I am simply asking you to have the preparation.

Secondly, regarding you physical and mental and financial setback, I will ask you to look at some brilliant and dazzling examples. Let us take the example of Stephen Hawkins, a present-day scientist, who is also one of the greatest scientist of all times, in spite of all his physical handicaps, which would have rendered an ordinary man into a totally useless being. But due to his strong resolution and consciousness and will-power, due to his genius, he has arisen to be not only one of the greatest scientist, but one of the greatest man of all times.

Let us take the example of Sri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Dev, who never had any money, never touched any money, but who is now regarded to be an Avatar of the Divine all over the world. The cause of absence of money could not deter His Manifestation. Let us take the example of Swami Vivekananda. When he visited USA for the first time, he was materially almost a pauper, but spiritually and in his Consciousness, he was a Sun with the Realisation of the Supreme Consciousness and his setbacks could not stop him. There are many other examples, which you may find out. Hence I would request you NOT to diminish your inspiration and aspiration always, pondering over your set backs, mental or physical or financial.

You have said :

‘My main theme is : "Setting up places such as the vision of Auroville in many many places so that the masses have accessible for a way to higher consciousness. The places will have to be affordable to the high and the low but of course will need the generosity of the well to do. They ought to be inter-faith places of worship accesible to all. Thus a Lama may come and instruct persons and they can offer him according to their capacities (I say this because at present I feel embarrassed to go since I am limited in what I can afford).I still have a dream of a larger place where I can be a caretaker and provide my efforts to helping others and myself progress spiritually.'

It is a very noble dream to set up "places like the Vision of Auroville at many many places." But I think before that you must understand the underlying philosophy and history of Auroville. Even if you try to establish one such Auroville, it would be a superhuman task. Hence I would request you to concentrate on the dream of opening one - one step at a time - Auroville at a time.

And let us under understand and remember what Auroville is, what is the underlying philosophy and aim, and who built it and why. This is not the place to take up such a big issue. If possible, I will take up the matter later on. But one thing - Auroville is an experiment of the Philosophy and the Teaching of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, the philosophy of an evolution beyond Man, beyond Mind. It cannot be a place of an inter-faith place of worship. Religions were and are great. But the age of religions has been over, if we stand facing at the Matrimandir of Auroville. We do not want limitations, divisions, competitions. We seek the Divine, but no lama, no priest, no purohit of a temple.

We want the Truth.

For most men, it is what they want that they label as truth.

The Aurovillians must want the Truth whatever it may be.

Auroville is for those who want to live a life essentially divine but who renounce all religions whether they be ancient, modern, new or future.

It is only in experience that there can be knowledge of the Truth.

No one ought to speak of the Divine unless he has had experience of the Divine.

Get experience of the Divine, then alone will you have the right to speak of it.

The objective study of religions will be a part of the historical study of the development of human consciousness. 

Religions make up part of the history of mankind and it is in this guise that they will be studied at Auroville - not as beliefs to which one ought or ought not to adhere, but as part of a process in the development of human consciousness which should lead man towards his superior realization.

You have further said : ‘One of my prayers is to be reborn in a family that cherishes spiritual values preferably Tibetan Buddhism or Indian Yoga which I consider equally suitable for progressing spiritually.' 
Dear perseus, I would prefer that this REBIRTH of yours shall be now and now, in this birth, in this body, in the present life, before your death or passing away. And you can have this REBIRTH, the eternal birth where there will be no death ever, by finding within yourself the Psychic Being.

If you start living with this aim of finding the Psychic being and integrating all aspects of your existence - physical mental, emotional, vital and active - around the Psychic Being, then your life will be really BLESSED.  All your problems will be over for ever. You can become then the Master, the Conqueror.
